TOLEWARE TEA LAMP #2, 19TH CENTURY

An antique toleware tea tin, adapted as a lamp. Teal block print cotton lampshade included. These hand-painted tins were used to store dried tea leaves during the height of the British Empire's tea trade.

Condition report: Base is attractively worn, with chips, dents, and minor rust. Lamp has been professionally wired.
